Like so many of the co-owners and area residents in the Lakeview Community of Superior Township, we have followed this afternoon’s events with great concern and genuine regard for the safety and well-being of all concerned. We are particularly grateful for the responsiveness of law enforcement who were on the scene promptly. As community members, as neighbors, and as citizens, we ask everyone’s patience and understanding as the facts of the matter are thoroughly reviewed, corroborated, and confirmed–rather than engaging in speculation. Follow-up communications from the board and management company, in consultation with law enforcement, will circulate as further information becomes available.
